The ninth edition of the Rugby World Cup is to be held in Japan from September 20 to November 2 in 2019.
This year marks the first time it has been held in Asia and the first time that consecutive tournaments have been staged in the Northern Hemisphere.
WHERE IS THE 2019 RUGBY WORLD CUP BEING PLAYED?
The 2019 Rugby World Cup will take place across twelve venues in Japan, ranging from Sapporo in the north to Higashi-ku in the south. The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place at Tokyo Stadium on September 20.
The new Rugby World Cup logo is based on the theme of “unity” and integrates the rising sun and Mt. Fuji with the existing World Rugby logo. It represents the world coming together in Japan, united by rugby union.
